Pinterest.

So the other day Ben and I were sitting on my couch in my apartment (we have really exciting lives). Instead of doing my homework, I was on Pinterest, naturally. I sure do love Pinterest. Benny even likes to go on his own pinterest!

Anyways, the conversation went something like this:
Jacquie: *looking at pins* "Woah, you can float a magic eraser in a toilet bowl overnight and it gets rid of the toilet bowl ring!!"
Ben: *looks over and sees I'm on pinterest* "Is that the 'how to be a wife' pin?"

He just says the darndest things.

"I just wouldn't want to run into him!"

The other day Ben and I were driving to Idaho Falls (to go to Ihop). As I was driving we were discussing the first big vacation we would take as married couple. It has been decided that we would go to Washington D.C. and New York! I've never been! But Ben has and he just loved it, and we both just love politics and the constitution so it would be so joyous.
Anyways, as we were talking Ben got concerned. Here is the conversation:
Ben: "I would just be so nervous going there..."
JQ: "Why would you be nervous walking around in D.C.??"
Ben: "Because what if  I run into Obama!? I would be so mad at him! I would probably say something really stupid and I would be thrown into jail for it! I just wouldn't want to run into him, ya know?"
JQ: "HAHA. oh Benny, you don't just 'run' into the President of the U.S.!"

and thank goodness for that, because I am sure Ben would say something to make him look like a terrorist.

So wish us luck on our future vacation, we wouldn't want to run into the president, now would we??

Benjamin Mee?

So this post is a funny story from May 19th. Sometimes, after Ben did something really funny, I would just type it really quick on my computer and save it, you know, like an electric journal. Well, I thought it was funny...Anyways here is the entry from this night:

May 19th, Saturday Night: Marissa was up in Rexburg (we found my wedding dress this day!) and after we went shooting with Ben, we came home and watched We Bought a Zoo. Ben had worked all day in Swan Valley (he is working for this nice old man on his property) so he was super tired. Anyways so in this movie the main character Matt Damon is named Benjamin Mee. So of course Ben is out in the first ten minutes of the movie. But in this movie the other character Kelly would yell “Benjamin” or say “Benjamin” all the time. And it was hilarious, every time “Benjamin” was said, Ben would wake up and say “Huh?” and fall right back asleep. It didn’t just happen once, it happened at least 8 times. It was just so funny. Then like 3/4th of the movie was over and Ben woke up, sat straight up and said “What? What’s happening? What’s going on?!” Of course I didn’t explain it to him because it was already almost over! He’s a funny one that boy.

Oh Benjamin, you silly boy, i just love you!

P.S. The movie was pretty cute, but not the best. I'd say if you have little kids they would love it! College kids....eh? I know Marissa liked it though ;)

The Beginning

Well, well, WELL. Yes, I have made a blog for Benjamin and me. I know, you're sick of those blogs that never keep up with life....so here is my first promise to you blog readers out there (basically, hi family!)
1. I will post at least one blog entry per week. This is a good starting point for me. Don't want to overwhelm myself, eh?
2. There will be at least one picture on every blog post. I am just a sucker for pictures :)
3. Ben will post on the blog at least once a month. I haven't really asked him about this yet, but I'm sure he will say yes....
All in all, enjoy!
This will be a blog filled of our daily adventures as being an engaged couple and in 70 days, as a married couple! eeeek!
And here is a picture of where we are getting married!
Interesting Fact: Jacquie's parents and Ben's parents got married here!
Now, we can only go onward from here! But bear with me, these first blog posts always have the tendency to be a little awkward.
