Mini Vacation!

Ben and I are going on our honeymoon the second week of October! We also will be having our reception in Dallas, TX after we get back! We are going on a cruise to Mexico!

I'm so excited! I've never been on a cruise!

But this is not the point of this post.

The point is, after Benji and I got married he surprised me and told me we were going to......

DISNEYLAND!!!

I was stoked! We left Bakersfield on Sunday (after getting the nail out of our tire) and got to our hotel.

Can you say amazing? This is where we stayed:

The HYATT. 14th floor. It was so fun! They even gave us chocolate covered strawberries and champagne (which we returned and therefore got some fancy water) because we just got married! 

Monday morning we jumped on the bus from the Hyatt to Disneyland! 

First we got fastpasses for Indian Jones, then we decided to get some breakfast. We ate a huge and delicious cinnamon roll! We should have taken a picture of it, but of course, we aren't really good at taking pictures anyways, so no picture.

And I forgot to mention we had our just married pins on! I was so happy, Ben wore his the entire day! We got so many congratulations throughout the day, it was wonderful!

Here is Benny eating his churro while we were in line for Pirates of the Caribbean:

 During our one day we got 6 churros. (They're just so dang good!) However, we got one free one, since we were just married. So that was cool :)

At the end of the night we went on splash mountain! The picture was just too funny to not take a picture of:

And of course because of the bad quality, you can't see, but Ben's hands are in the air and his eyes are totally closed, he is sleeping! And the lady in front of me, her hair is all up in my grill.

All in all it was a wonderful and magical day! Thank you hubby!

Oakland Zoo

After the wedding and pictures we had all family and friends who were up in Oakland come to a luncheon held at the Oakland Zoo! It was beautiful! We ate delicious Italian food and the view from this room was amazing. You can kind of see it here:

Anyways so we all ate till we were stuffed. The Wagner family had to rush home to begin setting up for the reception in Bakersfield later that night, but the McKee family all went to the zoo after the luncheon! After much debate (and begging on my part) Ben and I went to the zoo too! We got to ride on the Skyline (I can't remember what it was really called but it was something like that) which was basically a ski lift that went above all the animals! It was awesome to see them all! (without walking!) Here we are:

Wow, that is terrible quality. Sorry! Anyways we then rode the train with the McKee gang. The zoo was so fun! But we were tired and the zoo closed at five so we headed to the hotel.

The next day we drove down to Bakersfield for the reception! It was beautiful! I wish I had pictures, but we will get those eventually! :)

 Ben: "What are you wearing? Is this a bullet proof vest?! Is there plastic in this??"

Jacquie: "No husband, this is called a lace up dress with a corset inside"

Ben: "Can you even breathe?!"

Jacquie: "Of course I can breathe!"
